Payment Policies for Our Compassionate & Comprehensive Veterinary Care
We believe the quality of our veterinary care for your pet at Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic is second to none. Providing excellent veterinary care 24 hours a day every day of the year is not inexpensive, but having this care available around the clock makes it a great value.
Payment in full is expected at the time of service for any procedure.
For surgical or extensive medical procedures, you may request a written estimate of anticipated fees prior to admission of your pet. An estimate usually includes a range of projected fees. However, a pet’s condition may change at any moment and that may require treatment at additional cost. Therefore, estimates are not fixed. Whenever possible, authorization will be obtained from you before proceeding with treatment beyond the initial estimate.
For all hospital admissions, a deposit is required with the remaining balance due in full when your pet is discharged from the clinic. We accept cash, checks, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), and bank cards (ATM and debit cards). Please note, we no longer accept payment by check for emergency services.
We also accept veterinary pet insurance and CareCredit®, a pet health care line of credit for individuals who qualify. If you are interested, please ask a client service representative for more information. Please refer to our Pet Insurance page for information on that option.
