We are pleased to welcome you to Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic, and we are excited to meet your pet. Whether you found us by searching online or are one of the many clients we are delighted to get to know because someone has recommended us to you, we know you’ll feel at home here.

We strive to do our best to make your pet as happy and comfortable as possible by providing high quality, comprehensive, and compassionate veterinary care, exceptional customer service, and a neighborly atmosphere.

Our goal is to strengthen the bond between you and your pet while providing the highest quality veterinary medical and surgical care. Before your first visit, please print out the New Client Form and fill it in as completely as you can. Bring it along with your pet to his or her first appointment.

We want you to know as much as possible about the services and products that can help your pet live a healthier life, so we will devote time to talk to you about your pet’s health care needs. So that we can provide the best care, we encourage you to find a veterinarian on our staff with whom you and your pet are comfortable. When you call us at (916) 652-5816 to make an appointment, please request that doctor when you can. This will help you and your pet to establish a strong relationship with a particular veterinarian. Since we have more than 70 doctor shifts to staff each week, your preferred veterinarian may not be available every time, but rest assured, our entire staff works as a team to ensure your pet receives consistent, excellent veterinary care.

Has your regular veterinarian referred you to Loomis Basin for emergency or continuous critical care or for the services of one of our board-certified specialists, such as oncology or internal medicine? We always make sure that your veterinarian receives a complete report regarding your pet’s diagnosis and treatment regimen. This communication helps to provide better continuity of care after your pet’s visit here.
