Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic Mission Statement
Crafted in 1975, our original Mission Statement remains unchanged and embodies what Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic is all about. This was our aim when we started our practice and continues to be our goal each and every day.
"We understand the special bond that exists between people and their pets. Therefore, we at Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic pledge to provide our community and surrounding areas with the highest quality veterinary medicine and surgical care. The promise of our dedicated and professional staff is to create a neighborly atmosphere and to treat each patient with sincere concern and respect."
Our History of Pet Care in Loomis CA
For 35 years, since our humble beginnings in an old 600 square foot house on Taylor Road in downtown Loomis, we have been honored to serve the people and pets of the Loomis Basin and surrounding communities. In the beginning, we made a commitment to provide the best medicine and surgery possible to all species, 24 hours a day.
What began as a mixed animal practice in 1975 transitioned into two separate veterinary hospitals in 1991. Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic became Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic Small Animals & Exotics and Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic Large Animals. In 2004, the Large Animal practice became Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center, and we have continued to share the same site on Sierra College Boulevard, where we have been located since 1978.
Our founding commitment to provide the best medicine and surgery possible, 24 hours a day, still stands today, and we continue to invest in our practice. Loomis Basin employs or works with some of the best and brightest veterinarians and veterinary technicians in our profession and continues to provide state-of-the-art testing and equipment to complement the expertise that staff brings to pet care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year.
