Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic Is an AAHA Accredited Animal Hospital

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is an international association of more than 33,000 veterinary care providers who treat companion animals. Established in 1933, AAHA is well known among veterinarians and pet owners for establishing standards for veterinary hospitals and pet care. These standards are widely accepted as representing the components of veterinary practice that characterize high quality care, and they are periodically reviewed and updated to ensure they stay consistent with evolving knowledge and technology.

Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic is American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited. The AAHA Standards of Accreditation are widely held as the measure of excellence in veterinary medicine. Less than 15% of all practices qualify for AAHA accreditation. About 3,000 veterinary hospitals voluntarily participate in the AAHA hospital evaluation program. Trained consultants regularly visit these hospitals every 3 years to ensure compliance with AAHA’s standards for services and facilities.

Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic has passed inspection by AAHA on 900 standards that cover all aspects of our hospital.
