Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic has been providing around-the-clock medical and surgical veterinary care to pets in our local community and the surrounding area for over 35 years with our state-of-the art facility and exceptional staff. Both referring veterinarians and caring pet owners think of us as the go-to hospital for emergency and specialty veterinary care, while our community practice has a longstanding and loyal client base that includes generations of local families and their pets and continues to welcome new clients.

Loomis Basin is a rare combination of outstanding, comprehensive general practice and a state-of-the-art referral center with fully staffed, 24-hour critical care capabilities. We provide compassionate, individualized veterinary care for each pet patient, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We pride ourselves on our patient care and client communication. Our team is distinguished not only by our skills in providing outstanding animal health care, but also by our concern and empathy for our patients and clients.

Our hospital employs nearly 150 staff and occupies over 16,000 square feet. It includes 10 exam rooms, 3 fully equipped surgery suites, a large critical care and treatment area, laboratory, dispensary facilities, an intensive care unit, an isolation ward, digital radiography, computed tomography (CT) scanning, ultrasound, remote telemetry, endoscopy, laparoscopy, dentistry, and an assortment of runs and cages for hospitalized patients.

We are proud to have a number of employees who have been providing exceptional veterinary care and customer service to our clients and patients consistently for 5, 10, and 20-plus years. Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic has been an AAHA-accredited practice for over 30 years and most recently became an AAHA-accredited referral practice for internal medicine.
